Donation Guidelines

We are happy to accept donations, please drop them off Monday-Friday 9:45AM to 4:30 PM. See our guidelines and address below:

Donation guidelines

We ask all of our valued donors be mindful that if you would not want an item, a vulnerable person would likely feel the same. Therefore, we do not accept broken, torn ,stained or fowl-smelling items. No used items such as bathing suits, underwear or socks, bras etc.

Agape accepts donations of any household item that can be of practical use to a low-income family. Note certain items may not be accepted due to storage limitations or during our Christmas basket campaign. We accept clothing, non-perishable food items, lightly used toys, strollers, playpens, baby car seats, high chairs, dishes (in even sets), and certain appliances on special appointment.  We do not accept book donations and ask those with lightly used books to drop them off at the Multi-cultural Library of Laval (1535 Boulevard Chomedey, H7V 3R2, (450) 978-5995). If you wish to find an organization who accepts donations of furniture, please contact the Referral Centre of Greater Montreal (website), you can also reach them by dialing 2-1-1. Groups on Facebook.com such as “Pay if Forward Montreal/Laval” or Facebook Marketplace are also suggested ways to find a vulnerable family who would accept Furniture donations.

Donations can be dropped off anytime, Monday through Friday,  8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, except on holidays. Agape may close periodically for exceptional reasons such as our Annual General Meeting or fundraising activities, etc). Feel free to contact us before you visit! (450) 686-4333.
